eh..I need to figure out better titles | | Mariya lands in Trojenheim and looks around. She looks down and notices she's still in the armour she was in during the battle. Eragon see's her and walks over. "Hey Mariya, where've you been?" He asks.
"Around." Mariya says.
(I'm gonna god mod a bit here, forgive me.)
"Who's this?" Eragon asks noticing Axel next to Mariya. "Where are your bodyguards?"
"Eragon, this is Axel, my fiance." Mariya says, smiling. "Riku is getting married, and Mario is on vacation."
"Fiance?" Eragon asks, confused.
"We're engaged." Mariya says, smiling. "Where's Murtagh and Arya?"
"Murtagh is with Ajihad and the Twins driving out the Urgals from the tunnels." Eragon says. "Arya is...somewhere. She's been here and gone since Durza..you know.
"Oh right. Speaking of..how's your back?" Mariya asks.
"Better...I think. I was out for a day....the whole time...I was in alot of pain." Eragon sighs, not sure how Mariya took to injuries. "It still hurts every now and then..."
Saphira lands behind Eragon, and looks over Axel with one big blue eye.
"Nice seeing you again Saphira." Mariya says, smiling.
Saphira looks at Mariya then. And a pleasure seeing you, Princess. Saphira thinks to her.
Mariya staightens and tenses.
Saphira laughs. Oh don't worry, Eragon can't hear me, only you. Arya has told me of your...secret. It is safe with me.
Thank you Saphira Mariya thinks back to her.
Saphira looks back to Axel. Who is this? She asks, now speaking in Axel's mind as well now. | |

"Or the Empire." Eragon says.
"Hail Shadeslayer!" Someone shouted as they passed by.
"Shadeslayer?" Maiya asks, raising an eyebrow.
"They uh..think I killed Durza...I tried telling them it was Mario...but they wouldn't believe me." Eragon says, looking embarrased.
"Nice." Mariya says. "Are they getting back soon?" She asks, referring to Ajihad and the others.
"They should be." Eragon answers. | |

"The Empire is the lands Galbatorix rules over. He's a wicked King whos been ruling for years. The Varden are trying to take him down for awhile now, but have been unsucessful." Eragon says. He pulls out a map of Alagaesia, and points to the eft section of the map. "That's the empire, it stops at Du Weldenvarden, Surda the Beors, and the Hadarac Desert. Surda is ruled by King Orrin, who secretly saports the Varden. The Dwarves live in the Beor's, and the Elves, unknownst to the King, reside in Du Weldenvarden."
"I'm guessing that's a good thing." Mariya says, looking at the map.
"It is." Eragon says.
A man comes up to Eragon. "Eragon, ajihad is returning."
Eragon puts away the map, and foows the man. Mariya walks after them, looking around. "Have any Heartless appeared since the battle?" She asks.
"Not one. Some think Durza was controlling them." Eragon says.
"Wouldn't be surprised." Mariya says.
Eventually they reach the West side of Trojenheim. Orik and Arya were there, waiting as well. Yards away a tunnel opening stood. "Ajihad will be coming out from there."
"Arya, may I speak with you, alone?" Mariya asks. Arya nods before walking off with Mariya.

Eragon shouts before mounting Saphira. Saphira flies twords Ajihad and his party, but they are under attack by the Urgals. Mariya runs as fast as she can twords them Arya beside her. We're not goin to make it.... Mariya thinks, seeing Ajihad and his party being overwhelmed by the Urgals. | |

pmwww | | Re: Return to the strange (18th Feb 09 at 8:50pm UTC) | | A cloud of smoke surrounds the group of Urgals and Ajihad's party. When it disapears, Ajihad is on the ground, surrounded by dead Urgals. Eragon reaches him first, and gets down from Saphira.
When Mariya and Arya reach Ajihad, he's long gone. Mariya looks at the bodies. "Murtagh and the Twins aren't here.." She says.
Eragon looks to, then and see's she's right. He looks to Arya. "It makes no sence. It's not like Urgals to take prisoners." She says.
"Will you go after them?" Eragon asks.
Arya nods, and takes off.
Mariya sighs, looking at the wounds, sad they were to late to save Ajihad. Orik came up to them and swore in an unfamiliar language. "Where is Arya?" he asks.
"Went off to chase down the Urgals...they may have Murtgh and the Twins." Mariya says.
The man from before comes over and shakes his head. "She should not have gone, but we can do naught about it. Guards will be posted here, but it will be at least an hour before dwarf guides can be found for another expedition into the tunnels." The man said, shaking his head. | |

"None. Saphira figured it out as well. Eragon is still oblivious, however." Arya says.

"Scryed?" Mariya asks
"Its a way off seeing something you can't see. Say for example you wished to know what your father was doing at the moment. You would need a reflective surface, such as a pool of water or mirror, the simpy say the words required and you would see them. It has limitations, though. you can only see people, places and things that you've already seen. If they were alive, I would have seen them, there surroundings I couldn't be sure of, however." Arya says, before heading back into Trojenheim.
"Your majic sounds complex." Mariya says.

Mariya comes out a moment later in a pain shirt and pants. "Much better, that armor was getting un-comfortable." | |

Eragon nodded, and Mariya went over to him. "Things will get better, Eragon." She says, to hopefully cheer him up.
"How do you know?" Eragon says, handing her his bow.
"I dont...I just wanted to sheer you up." Mariya says. "...there was a war back home a few years ago. My friend Riana lost her mother, and Axel lost his parents. That's just naming two people who lost loved ones."
"Did you loose anyone?"
"No, but I was close with both." Mariya says before facing the target. Eragon then proceeds to teach her how to aim the bow, and Mariya shot it and the arrow hit the outer ring of the target.
"Your aiming to far to the left." Eragon said before awkwardly postioning her to aim straight. Mariya shoots, and the arrow lands in the center. Mariya smiles. | |
