Sora sits at his desk, going threw the pile of papers on his desk. He sighs. The stack seem never-ending.

Axel step out of the portal right outside Sora's office and knocks

"Come in." Sora says, putting down the paper.

Axel opens the door and says as calmly as he can "did you know?"

"Did I know what, exactly?" Sora asks, looking at him.

Axel takes a deep breath "about how my parents died?"

Sora sighs. "I thought I told you: They were found dead by a few knights." Sora says.

Axel looks at him "so you didn't know the fallen angels killed them?"

"No, I didn't." Sora says, surprised. "How did you find this out?" He asks.

Axel sighed "Lucas told me before he got away"

Sora sighs. "I see." He says. "Revenge is a poison Axel, I'd think clearly before you do anything rash."

Axel nods "I have thought and if the chance appears I'll take it but I know my parents wouldn't want me to go out and hunt them down"

Sora nods. "Well, I doubt that chance will be anytime soon. All I'm getting here is false leads." He says. "Mariya's out on a mission. She'll be home soon."

Axel nods and turns to leave "I'll be in the garden if you need me"

Sora nods, and leans back in his chair. He sighs, and begins looking threw reports again.

Axel goes to the garden and sits under his favorite tree to take a nap

A half hour later, Mariya sits next to him and kisses him. She smiles.

Axel opens his eyes and smiles "hey"

"Hey." Mariya says. "Nice nap?" She asks.

Axel nods "yea, so where'd you go?"

"A new world. Had Ninja's." Mariya says. "Odly, it wasn't that great."

Axel laughs "well not to you whose been on adventures since the age of 2"

Mariya laughs. "Good food, though. I gave the recipe to Allissa."

Axel smiles and kisses her "careful you'll get fat"

Mariya punches his arm. "Oh shut up." Mariya says, laughing a little.

Axel laughs "I'll love you fat or skinny short or tall"

"Good, becuase when we decide to have kids I'll be fat with our child." Mariya says, kissing him again.

Axel smiles and kisses her back

"Where'd you go? Dad said he sent you on a mission before we left." Mariya says.

Axel nods "the Land of Dragons"

"Ahh, sorry. You had to deal with Haku." Mariya says.

Axel laughs "he was fine, did more fighting then talking"

Mariya laughs. "That's good. You owe me a date, you know." Mariya says.

Axel laughs "really now?" he kisses her "and why is that"

"You walked out on Pizza." Mariya says, laughing.

Axel smiles "I thought that was lunch?"

"Either way you owe me a date." Mariya says, kisisng him.

Axel laughs "and who is gonna make me?" he sticks out his tongue

Mariya stands, winks, and walks away.

Axel smiles and shakes his head before lying back down

Two days later, Mariya returns to the Five Nations for the funeral of their Hokage, and when she returns, she heads to Merlin.

Axel walked out of they training area and towards the stables to visit his chocobo hatchling Apollo

Sasha squaks at Axel, poking her head out. Dr. Matera is holding Apollo, feeding him.

Axel pats Sasha and looks at Dr. Matera "how's he doing?"

"He's doing well." Dr. Matera says, putting down the small spoon down once Thrash stopped eating from it. "There, all done." She says, petting him gently.

Axel laughs and picks him up "hey chick, whats up?" Apollo gently nips him and jumps down fluttering awkwardly

Dr. Mattera chases after Apollo and picks him up. "That's not nice Apollo. Your not Thrash."

Axel laughed "it's ok he doesn't like heights too much"

Dr. Mattera puts Apollo in a empty stall. She picks up the spoon and a bowl and goes to feed the other chicks.

Axel pats Apollo before turning to leave "I'll bring you a treat next time"

Apollo lets out a 'kweh.' before Axel leaves his site.

Mariya arrives at Merlins then, and after a few minutes she leaves, going to the Marketplace now.

Axel yawns and walks over to the garden to take a nap under his favorite tree

Mariya comes back to the castle caring flowers a few children gave her. She gets a vase and puts them in her and Axel's room. She then grabs her bow and quiver and heads down to the academy.

Axel climbs the tree and sits down on one of the lowest branches

Mariya finds the classroom she was asssigned and sits at the desk. She sits and waits for her class to arrive.

Axel pulls out his cell phone and texts Mariya whats up?

Waiting for my students to get here. Mariya texts back.

Soon, the students arrive, and Mariy begins class.

Axel laughs and texts back " 'kay see you later"

Love you Mariya quickly texts before begining to hand out a sheet of paper to all her student.

Axel closes his eyes and doses off on the tree branch

A trainee runs up to Axel and shakes him. "Prince Axel, I think the Princess is having a vision." He says. "A bad one, we can't snap her out of it."

Axel nods and without opening his eyes disappears through a portal to reappear next to Mariya "wake up Mariya, snap out of it"

Mariya snaps out of it and hugs Axel tight, tears in her eyes.

axel wraps his arms around her "it's ok"

"I have to see dad." She says, before kissing him. "Would you mind staying here until I get back?"

Axel nods and lets her go "be careful ok' he said before sitting down

Mariya nods and heads up to her father's office.

Axel looks at the class "so what are you guys learning?"

"She was just starting on the basics of archery when she started having the vision." A trainee says.

Axel nods "there are basics?"

He nods. "Just how to knock your arrows properly and stuff."

Axel looks confused "......oh you mean when you put the arrow against the string"

"Yeah." He says.

The other students laugh.

Axel laughs with them "archery isn't really my thing come by the training ring later and I'll give you a lesson in swordsmanship"

Mariya soon returns, and kisses Axel. "I'll tell you later, kay?" She asks.

Axel nods and kisses her back before leaving

Mariya resumes teaching, and when class dismisses the stuents head down to Merlins to get their bows.

She, however, goes and finds Axel.

she would find Axel sleeping in his usual tree on one of the lower branches

Once Mariya finds him, she climbs up and sits on a branch near him and kisses him.

Axel opens his eyes and smiles " I need a new tree"

"Oh, I'll always find you." Mariya says. "There's something I don't get, I've been reading up on demons. Most of the books I read say they don't need much sleep, but you sleep everytime you can."

Axel laughs "well yea, something Dante taught me"

"Ah." Mariya says. "Anyway. I saw Haku die...in several different ways, so I had Dad contact the Emperor to be sure Haku stays safe."

Axel nods "well nothing that can't be stopped"

Mariya nods. "Are we going to lie here the rest of the day?" Mariya asks.

Axel shakes his head "pick a place, I owe you a date"

Mariya thinks. "Twilight Town." She says.

"twilight town?" Axel asks "anything special there"

"Sunset hill, of course." Mariya says.

Axel laughs "and the ghost train"

"Oh common. We both know it's just the train that goes to Yen Sid's." Mariya says, laughing.

Axel laughs "well everyone else doesn't"

Mariya laughs more. "Let's go." She says, jumping out of the tree.

Axel jumps out after her"guess what"

"I'm gonna win." Mariya says, opening a light portal and stepping threw.

Axel laughs and falls through a dark portal

Mariya is sitting on the Gummi ship when Axel arrives. "Common. Royals ride free on the train." She says, slipping in the ship.

Axel hops in behind her "cheater"

"Takes one to know one." Mariya teases as she shuts the hatch. She sets the warp drive, and the ship takes off.
